All of our personal trainers have either achieved a four year degree in an exercise related field or obtained a nationally accredited certification.

Becca has been with the RAC for Women since 2011, starting off as a Group Fitness instructor and moving into a Director position. She currently is the Regional Group Fitness Director in our area. She is a ZIN licensed Zumba instructor and holds an ISCA Performance Training certification. Becca also holds certifications with NETA, NCCPT, and CPR/AED and is currently working on her certification to become a Health Coach through ACE.
Julie has been a trainer at the Greece RAC for 16 and a half years. Julie holds a Personal Training certification from AFAA and a Nutrition Specialist certification from NFPT. Julie’s clients are mostly women over 50 whose goals include improved quality of life and functional fitness. Many say that without Julie, they wouldn’t do any weight training on their own, especially at a coed facility. Julie loves the RAC for Women because we provide a full service gym for women who don’t feel comfortable in other clubs. Julie finds working in fitness is rewarding because she is able to make a difference in her clients’ health and well-being.
Nancy is a personal trainer at the RAC for Women. She is a NETA certified group fitness trainer, personal trainer, kettlebell and yoga certified. She is also STOTT Pilates certified, Mat and Reformer along with being a Schwinn Cycling certified instructor. Nancy is a 12 year Triathlete with over 20 years of experience in health and fitness. Her main goal is to educate and motivate clients while helping them work to their full potential!
Sara is a Master Trainer at the RAC for Women. She has degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Civil Engineering. She is also a NFPT certified personal trainer and Kettlebell Certified ISSA. Sara has more than 6 years experience here at the RAC. With a little help using the “laws of physics” clients can gain strength, endurance and self confidence.
Shelby is a NFPT certified personal trainer here at the RAC for Women. She turned her passion for fitness and weight training to a new level! She loves to encourage her clients to work to their full potential by getting them to step out of their comfort zones. Shelby believes in achieving results and reaching goals!
Shirlee is a master trainer here at the RAC for Women. After graduating from SUNY Brockport with a 4 year degree in Physical Education, she coached Modified Track, Softball and Girls Varsity Tennis at Churchville Chili High School for 4 years. She then discovered her passion for helping individuals improve their quality of life through exercise and started as a personal trainer. Through the years Shirlee has acquired an extensive knowledge base and skills that she has used over and over that has helped individuals of all ages strengthen and condition their entire physical body. She feels it is extremely gratifying to know that she has helped an individual accomplish so many things in their life that they were previously unable to do.
She is a master trainer through the National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT) and has a lifetime Fitness Instructor certification through Dr. Coopers Institute for Aerobics Research.
Wendy has been working at the RAC for Women since 2006. Her Personal Training Credentials include Aerobic and Fitness Association of America and National Academy Sports Medicine Certification. Over the last ten years it has been Wendy’s passion to empower women and help women of all ages better their fitness, health and wellness, and achieve their fitness goals. She is constantly looking to enhance and expand my knowledge in this field to better equip her and holds over 60 continuing education credits. Some of Wendy’s favorite continuing education courses have been Injury Prevention and Exercise Progressions, Midlife Fitness for Women, Sports Nutrition, Performance Training, and Sustaining Mobility & Movement: Human Movement Science and Practical Modality Instruction.
